I've revved up my engine
With the liquid crush of adrenaline
Crashing in my vision
The street is just a blur
Surroundings rendered meaningless
But I can feel the current now
Catchin' up with life
I can see the finish line
A drop of blue sky, the flash of ground
And now I know
I'm catchin' up with life
The ghost smile plays on my lips
But I've no time to show teeth because
Freefalling in that single moment
I've caught up with life

Hmm... not sure if this is the right catagory. Ah well...
Anyways. This was weird for me. I had in mind a different poem when I thought of the phrase "catchin' up with life" but when I started writing... it turned into something else.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining at all. I like it. But it's weird. I don't even know what it means.
I think it's a suicide sorta thing.
My sister suggested (rather morbidly) that I predicted my own death. Whatever. Who knows. Maybe.
